Really cool tool that calculates the "walkability score" of an address based on the basic services available within walking distance. http://www.walkscore.com/
Dan, this is awesome! but I don't understand why proximity to public transportation is not counted towards the score..i guess since it cannot be listed as business?? My NYC(queens) apt location scored much lower than my Seattle apt, but it was definitely more convenient there.
